A Day with Lord Brockhampton

Saturday bright and early, Lord Brockhampton a/k/a Tim, showed up to take us on a tour of the Cotswolds.  Tim is not a member of the peerage but acquired his title with the land he bought but a lord is a lord (even if it does mean "badger farm" or something like that)!

The Cotswolds is a drop dead gorgeous part of England with chocolate box villages and jaw dropping views.

We are out in the country and nature abounds.....

This is a cricket sports building built by J.M Barrie, author of Peter Pan.

After innumerable villages, all with gorgeous vistas, we visited Kelmscott, home to William Morris, a pioneer of the Arts and Crafts movement.  No pictures were allowed inside but I was able to take these shots of the beautiful exterior and garden.

It was a glorious day, full of serene beauty........

Tomorrow is the Jazz Picnic!!!!!
